The Drum Cops International (DCI) World Championships are the pinnacle of the DCI Tour, a series of more than 100 live competitive drum corps events taking place across North America from June through August.  The DCI World Championships mark a week-long celebration of the best in the world of marching music, ending in the crowning of world champions in each of DCI's competitve classes.  Shows:  World Class Quarterfinals (August 12th at 3:30 pm), Open Class Semifinals (August 13th at 8:00 am), World Class Semifinals (August 13th at 4:30 pm), Open Class Finals (August 14th at 10:00 am), and World Class Finals (August 14th at 5:30 pm).  All shows are located in Lucas Oil Stadium.

Vintage Movie Night Series Film collector, historian, and preservationist Eric Grayson will be sharing some of his favorite vintage films one night each month.  A $2.00 suggested donation for Vintage Movie Night is appreciated.  No registration required.  Vintage Movie Night in August will feature the movie "His Girl Friday" (1940) starring Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell, based on the Broadway hit "The Front Page."  The film will be preceded by a vintage cartoon.

Step Up Cincinnati is hosted by UGIVE.  Join UGIVE and 1,500 of your peers to volunteer from 9:00 AM to Noon at non-profits all over the Greater Cincinnati area.  After a day of rewarding and life changing volunteering we will return to Covington Landing for the after party!  When you arrive on the morning of the event you will be able to choose the non-profit you would like to volunteer with.  The after party will consist of free food, entertainment, music, games, and fun.  Each volunteer will receive a raffle ticket upon arrival, and additional raffle tickets can be gained by bringing a pair of gently used shoes to donate.  To participate in this event you need to become a member of UGIVE at http://www.ugive.org if you aren't already.  Once you're a member you need to sign up for the Step Up Cincinnati event.  Registration needs to be completed by September 4th, 2010.

National Arts Program Exhibit
